K&B’s destination wedding took place in Cortona in Tuscany, Italy, at Villa Montanare; a private Tuscan home on a hill, where our couple hosted 80 of their closest friends and family.
The colour scheme of this wedding was greens, whites and soft yellows. The ceremony took place at the back of the villa overlooking the beautiful rolling countryside with amazing picturesque views of the Tuscan hills. The Arch of the ceremony was mainly made out of olive branches, with touches of white colourings.

It was important to K&B that the Italian atmosphere was carried throughout the day, so following the ceremony an Italian string trio played nostalgic Italian music. The caterers served food stands of different Italian foods, presented in wicker baskets, and a traditional gelato cart served gelato during this time to keep guests cool in the 30 degree heat.
The guests dined on two long tables dressed with neutral linen tablecloths. Beautiful soft flowers were presented in terracotta pottery and each place setting had a rattan charger, with a linen napkin and minimalist nude and white toned stationery.
K&B had a cake moment where they made a traditional Italian Millefeuille cake in front of guests and this was followed by their first dance under a canopy of fairy lights, where their DJ played the night away.

Holly planned our destination wedding in Italy that took place this past June (2022). I cannot say enough about how truly fantastic she was to work with. From the moment we first met with her to the end of the night of our wedding, she went above and beyond and truly exceeded all expectations. She treated us with such compassion every step of the way, including Covid postponements and resulting issues with vendors - no matter what came up, I could trust that Holly had it handled. I was so impressed with her throughout the planning process, but the way she handled our wedding day was so special. Not only was everything beautiful beyond words, but the way she treated us and our family/ friends was nothing short of incredible. I have a disabled sister, for example, who was an honorary Maid of Honor. She had a difficult time right before the ceremony, and Holly was able to help her through it with such ease and kindness while still ensuring things went smoothly and to schedule. If you are hesitating to book Holly and Wonderlust Events - do yourself a favor and hire them.
