SICILY

BRACCIALIER

We planned and styled a destination wedding photography workshop at Braccialieri, a luxury eco-glamping resort in Sicily that seamlessly blends tradition, nature, and contemporary design. Set within an archaeological olive grove of centuries-old trees, Braccialieri offers serenity, well-being, and a profound connection to the land. Its philosophy of luxury through simplicity creates an environment where guests feel nurtured and inspired.

To showcase the venue’s intimate spaces, we designed a pre-wedding table in the bar area, creating a colourful, playful, and inviting focal point. Inspired by the white lotus, the design embraced a maximalist pattern with nods to Sicily’s heritage. A bespoke tablecloth and handwritten plates added personality, while locally sourced produce in the form of garlic, onions, and tomatoes, brought the essence of the region directly onto the table. Colours were carefully chosen to complement the bar backdrop, balancing vibrancy with natural warmth.

The ceremony took place within Braccialieri’s gardens, enhanced with a colourful paper flower installation as a backdrop. The immersive, organic design created a joyful and intimate setting, highlighting the venue’s deep connection to the land and its centuries-old olive groves.

For the main dinner, we embraced the natural elements of the venue by designing an angular table layout woven around the olive trees. Organic tones of brown and green evoked a nostalgic “cappuccino coffee” vibe, harmonizing with the resort’s earthy palette. The table was adorned with uniquely shaped plates, silk napkins, and elegant white lamps, creating a refined, understated elegance that celebrated both the site’s natural beauty and our bespoke design concept.

The incredible cakes included a sculpted body design and a Sicilian Moor’s Head made from solid chocolate, finished with macarons in green, brown, and white.

For the pool and pizza party, we highlighted the venue’s magical red-and-white tiled pool, creating a playful, visually striking atmosphere. Guests enjoyed blue-and-white striped personalised rubber rings, while the creative team added whimsical red inflatable ‘sunkissed tomatoes’, balancing the bold architecture with interactive, immersive details and offering a relaxed yet luxurious conclusion to the workshop weekend.
