In the charming town of Lourmarin, beneath the radiant Provencal sun, a picturesque French wedding venue witnessed a remarkable love story unfold. Catherine and Matt, deeply connected souls, were on the cusp of embarking on a journey filled with romance, tradition, and the promise of a lifetime together.

Friends and family congregated in the age-old stone chapel, adorned with golden accents, atop the altar. With Hope's melodic voice serenading bride Catherine down the aisle, she, resplendent in her wedding gown, exchanged vows with her dashing groom, Matt. This Catholic ceremony was a testament to their love, marking a beautiful beginning under the warm Provençal sun.

Following the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests strolled along the cobblestone streets of Lourmarin to 'Le Moulin,' a delightful boutique hotel, their first location for post ceremony drinks, just a five-minute walk from the church. Here, the first drinks reception awaited them, with glasses filled with exquisite Provencal blush rosé. Amid clinking glasses and infectious laughter, Catherine and Matt revelled in the warmth of their loved ones, cherishing the enchanting start to their new life together.

Yet, more adventures awaited throughout the day. After a lingering sip of rosé wine, the wedding party departed for their next destination, their very own French wedding venue, 'Le Galinier,' a place that embodied romance and elegance, set amidst a landscape adorned with roses. With a live roaming band serenading the guests and immersive food stations offering delectable regional delights, the celebration continued to unfold for their destination wedding.

Catherine and Matt made a grand entrance at Le Galinier in a classic car, evoking timeless elegance in a timeless setting. Their arrival was met with applause and cheers, setting the tone for a night that would be etched into everyone's memory.

The evening's colour palette featured vibrant yellows and delicate meadow-style pink flowers, adding a touch of timeless elegance to the festivities. A Limoncello stand served as the table plan, where guests found personalized mini bottles adorned with name cards, creating a sense of individual significance.

Due to the looming threat of inclement weather we went with the plan B option on the day and prepared the marquee for the wedding dinner, transforming this French wedding venue into an enchanting haven. Long tables, dressed in white tablecloths and white bistro chairs, stretched out beneath the canopy, awaiting the guests. The marquee came to life with an array of colourful flowers, flickering candles, striped circular menus, and napkins fastened with velvet ochre bows.

Dinner was a sumptuous three-course affair, a culinary journey through the flavours of Provence. The highlight was a magnificent strawberry tart, which was prepared with sparklers and prepared in front of the guests for their dessert.

As night fell, the celebration truly came to life with a roaming band coaxing everyone onto the dance floor and bringing the French wedding venue alive. The rhythm of their music led jubilant guests inside the Bastide, where a DJ and a saxophonist took over the beats, ensuring that no one could resist dancing the night away. The bar team crafted amazing cocktails, tantalizing taste buds and adding to the merriment.

Under the starlit sky, in the heart of Lourmarin, Catherine and Matt celebrated their destination wedding in a way that seamlessly blended tradition with a modern twist, creating enduring memories to cherish for a lifetime.
