PROVENCAL CHATEAU

R&S's destination wedding was held in Provence in France with approximately 110 guests.

They got married in a Provencal Chateau and their colour scheme on the wedding day was greens, whites and soft yellows.

Their symbolic ceremony took place in front of two cherubs surrounded by flowers. It actually started to rain during the ceremony but we had given everyone an umbrella in case this were to happen so when it did it actually had an intimate, fun and romantic feel about it.

The rain eventually went away during the drinks reception and everyone gathered around the fountain at the front of the house for Aperol Spritz and Mojitos along with French style serving stations and canapés handed out on trays.

Dinner took place in the orangery of the Chateau where the guests dined on two long tables. The tables were decorated with bud vases of different height flowers in yellows and whites with lots of candles in cylindrical vases. A green floral patterned charger plate was on each place setting, along with a white napkin and a green menu to fit in with the colour scheme.

During the dinner, a roaming band played acoustic music during each course and got the guests ready for the party that would follow.

HOLLY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND ANYTHING WE COULD HAVE ASKED FOR TO CREATE THE ABSOLUTE BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES.

Holly and the Wonderlust team are truly W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L. Holly went above and beyond anything we could have asked for to create the absolute best day of our lives. She took everything we said we wanted, and found the best suppliers, added her own magical touch and kept us in the loop throughout the whole process. We quickly discovered that organising a wedding abroad is super challenging to do on your own, and I honestly don't know what we'd have done without Holly. On the day she made everything go so smoothly, we didn't have to worry about a thing, even when the weather was so up and down - she just sorted it all in the background so we could fully throw ourselves into it. It was also so lovely getting to know Holly and having her there on the day, she is an absolute pleasure to work with, always has a smile on her face (even though I can imagine there were stressful times!).

If you're thinking about an aboard wedding, 100% go with the Wonderlust team, you absolutely will not regret it!
