Imogen and Hugo’s destination wedding in Provence was a luminous celebration of love, joy, and the region’s quintessential charm. From elegant riverside cocktails in Avignon to the unforgettable festivities at Château La Tour Vaucros, each detail captured the couple’s effortless style and vibrant spirit.
The weekend began at Le Bercail, a charming riverside venue on the Rhône. Guests gathered with champagne and rosé and tapas as the sun set behind the Avignon bridge.

The wedding ceremony took place in the late afternoon on the château’s manicured lawn. Lush floral arrangements in soft green, white, lavender, and blue formed a semi-circle behind the couple, creating an intimate and timeless setting for their vows. The ceremony was deeply personal and unforgettable, with guests joining in to sing along to “All About You”; a truly memorable and heartfelt moment.
Following the ceremony, guests gathered by the pool for cocktails, featuring Aperol and Hugo spritz, flowing champagne, and a sophisticated selection of canapés, including tomato tatin, mini burgers, truffle croque, and tuna bites. Interactive live cooking stations with freshly baked focaccia and sizzling dishes from a butcher’s plancha added a playful and engaging touch as guests mingled in the sunshine.

Dinner was held beneath festoon lights, with long tables dressed in soft neutral linens and adorned with arrangements of white, green, and purple blooms. Gold lamps and tall ivory candles added warmth and elegance to the setting. Guests enjoyed a carefully curated menu: tomato gazpacho to start, followed by beef fillet with thyme jus and a drizzle of Provençal honey, and finished with a decadent dessert of cocoa shortbread, three-chocolate cream, and a thyme-crusted topping with sea salt flower.
