J&G held their destination wedding on the little island of Lake Iseo in Italy, between Lake Como and Lake Garda. A magical little place, which you can only access by getting a boat across from the mainland. Our couple came from Germany and so did most of their 50 guests so they wanted it to feel very special and different for them.
The night before the wedding, we organised a pizza party amongst the olive trees, where festoon bulb lighting zig zagged over the one long table. Our couple J&G also decided to seize the moment and take a private boat on the lake prior to the pizza party to get some amazing photos before the day of the wedding.
The colour scheme for the wedding day was pinks, reds, oranges and whites as our couple used to live in India, so they wanted to bring in the richness of colour where they could make a nod to their past travels.
They had a symbolic ceremony in front of the Lake and then, following this an Italian Aperitivo hour with lots of meats, cheeses and other Italian delicacies.
The dinner took place inside the grand hall and here the tables were decorated with flowers filled with colour and candles which brought warmth. Each place setting had a seeded paper menu as our couple wanted sustainable stationery, so the guests could plant these following the wedding.
Each guest also got a personalised candle favor which was scented with Italian herbs.
For the entertainment on the night we had a DJ along with Ellie sax who played along with the DJ and made sure the energy stayed constant throughout the night.

The very best decision we made besides getting married was partnering up with Wonderlust Events!! Just absolutely perfect organization, highly engaged and well-thought through in absolutely every aspect one could think of, Holly & her team delivered an outstanding planning and preparation for our wedding days with lots of unprecedented ideas we were not aware of. Even rescheduling and negotiations with contractors went seamlessly, and Wonderlust Events was worth every penny and beyond. Besides the professionalism, Holly is such a warm and caring person, we actually miss working & organizing our event with her very much. We wish her the best of success, and we are sure any wedding organized by Holly & her team will be outstanding & remarkable!!
