​​On a glorious hot sunny day in August 2024, our lovely couple M&S celebrated their wedding at the most quintessential destination of them all, their charming home, a beautiful cottage in the Cotswolds.
The ceremony was set to take place in their glorious front garden under a tree. Rows of wooden chairs faced a stunning array of flowers displayed in a semi circle where the couple stood. As the clock struck two, the music began and a close family member, led the ceremony with heartfelt words about love, friendship, and the beauty of commitment.
Following the ceremony the celebration continued in front of their idyllic dollhouse cottage. Guests mingled with glasses of bubbly in hand and a delightful selection of canapés made their way around the couples friends and family.
After drinks, everyone made their way to the top of the garden where the sail tent marquee stood proudly adorned with festoon lights. Round tables set with romantic beige linens, personalised menus and beautiful floral centrepieces adorned with candles. Burgundy birch branches decorated the marquee poles to create a warm and romantic atmosphere but to also bring the outside in. An ethereal fabric wall was created to divide the dining area from the bar and dance floor, featuring a table plan crafted from tracing paper embellished with line drawn sketches and table names that held a special meaning for M&S.
Dinner featured a feast of locally sourced dishes, from succulent roasted lamb to fresh garden salads followed by homemade panna cotta. Amie wine flowed seamlessly through the entire menu, ensuring that no glasses were left empty.
As twilight descended, the couple shared their first dance under a glimmering disco ball. The fabric installation unveiled the party area, inviting guests to join the dance floor as the marquee morphed into a lively celebration filled with laughter and joy. Handcrafted cocktails flowed, and guests were treated to espresso martinis as they gathered for the first dance, while various DJs took to the decks to keep the night alive.

When we first started planning our wedding, we thought we’d be tying the knot abroad. But life threw us an unexpected and wonderful curveball: we found our dream home in the Cotswolds and decided to renovate it and host our wedding there instead - all within just over a year! Becca and Holly, the wedding planners who quite literally saved our sanity and made our dream a reality were so up for the challenge and embraced the chaos like true professional’s.
From the start, they brought a level of organisation, creativity, and attention to detail that was simply unmatched. With so many moving parts and a house renovation underway, Becca and Holly kept everything on track with such grace and professionalism that it felt effortless (though we know it wasn’t!).
Working with Becca so closely throughout the process was truly special. She became more than a wedding planner; she became a friend. Her genuine care, calm demeanour, and ability to make every little detail feel meaningful made the whole experience even more magical. Holly, was equally incredible and it felt so special being the first Wedding she was on site for since the birth of her beautiful baby boy. Together, they brought our vision to life and then some.
On the big day, everything was flawless. Every detail, every moment was perfect—and we owe it all to them. Becca and Holly aren’t just wedding planners; they’re miracle workers, life organisers, and the best team you could ever ask for to guide you through such an important time.
