N&J held their destination wedding in Provence, France, in a beautiful farmhouse style venue called Blanche Fleur. Hosting 70 guests on their stunning wedding day, their brief was pops of colour: bright pinks, corals, blues and yellows.
The ceremony took place in an area that the venue hadn’t used for weddings before but that felt just right for our couple, which made it extra special. The flower arch surrounded two French grey doors and behind the guests was a backdrop of old ruins that brought of sense of texture and time. Jonathan from the Gatsby band played the piano and sung the bridal party down the aisle, filling the air with excitement.
For the reception drinks, the guests enjoyed a culinary experience, which the French catering team provided, including smoked duck under a glass cloche and colourful tasty canapés.
The dinner took place in a courtyard with round tables, lit by a chandelier on each table, which hung from a flower filled stand. The colourful flower centrepieces were placed in minimalist ceramic pots along with dinner candles in hues of yellow. Each place setting had a letter pressed minimalist menu and a name card with a yellow tassel. The napkins were in a floral Liberty of London fabric to bring in that wow factor.
The party took place inside the orangery, where the Gatsby band introduced guests to the dancefloor for the first dance under a cluster of disco balls. This room was made to feel like a fun intimate area with velvet tassel sofas and pouffes in mustard yellows and bamboo armchairs. An espresso martini station was also put out later in the evening for guests to help themselves and keep fuelled for a night of dancing. Later on the DJ team played the beats until the very end of the night.
The following day N&J held a pool party where cool party beats were played and Disco et Tacos, a Mexican food truck, served hangover food of tacos and nachos which were amazing.
