Ornella & Max
The setting for Max & Ornella's wedding, was Maison De La Vaure - a beautifully restored, 16th century Cognac estate, overlooking the French countryside near to Bordeaux. The perfect spot for a French Maison destination wedding.
To suit our Bohemian couple, we worked with neon pinks and shimmering golds to create a stylish and less traditional Château style wedding. Our bride looks gorgeous in a bespoke gold sequin wedding gown, by Eleonore Pauc. which pairs beautifully with her romantic hair styles, Grecian gold hair vine and soft bridal make up. Our Groom wears a tailored Navy Blue three-piece suit which compliments his bride-to-be’s dress beautifully.
The romantic understated ceremony takes place on the château’s front steps with the bold & unstructured florals, gold touches and a Moroccan wedding blanket. A handmade macramé table plan hangs from one of the Maison’s trees with pearlised capiz shells that glisten in the setting sun. Each guest’s name has been hand-calligraphed in neon pink to stand out while staying on palette.
Hand-dipped neon ombré taper candles in vintage brass candlesticks are lit and the table is set for their intimate outdoor wedding dinner. A white-washed wooden farm table is adorned with a macramé table runner. To create the organic luxury on this table natural elements were used such as wooden chargers, rose quartz Himalayan salt tealights, raw quartz crystals and feathers hand-painted with gold. These touches add a feeling of organic luxury to this Bohemian love story, while dip-dyed linen napkins and neon pink and gold-leaf stationery bring pops of colour to the scene.
After dinner our couple enjoy a cozy cocktail together, alongside fine French cheeses from their vintage “Fromagerie trolley,” while relaxing under a bespoke bamboo tipi frame on the château lawn. The perfect end to their Bohemian French elopement at Maison De La Vaure.
