J&J our lovely couple from the states got us onboard to style their magical, intimate destination wedding in Iceland. They wanted a cosy, hygge feel across the day and the day came together beautifully.
We worked with colours of soft pinks, aubergines, moss greens and a touch of blue ferns. Using a heavy floral style across some of the stationery, we brought in contrast with a very minimalist menu that was easy for guests to read. The floral pattern was continued across the fabric welcome sign and for favors, we found scented Icelandic candles.
Sourcing material in Iceland can be tricky but we found some wonderful suppliers, as well as packing our cases full of items that would complete the look. Warming dinner candles were used along the entire length of the dinner table and linen coloured tablecloths brought earthiness to reflect the wild landscape of Iceland.
The whole day had a very Vogue style fashion feel which we absolutely adored.

When my spouse and I reflect back on our wedding, we always get to a point in our conversation and say something along the lines of “imagine what it would have been like without Holly”. And frankly, I don’t think we would have even come close to producing what Holly did. She was patient, understanding, responsive, extremely creative, and above all else, an absolute joy to work with. Talking to her felt like having a conversation with a friend who also happens to have a keen eye for all things weddings. During our initial call, she immediately picked up on key elements that were important to our vision and made us feel extremely at ease that she would be able to deliver exactly what we were asking for. If the just the mere thought of planning a cohesive wedding/reception stresses you out- I’ve been there and I get it. Holly made the whole process so much fun and took so much weight off of our shoulders. Throughout the entire process of designing our reception, Holly kept us informed as things were progressing with other vendors so we were never in the dark about what was going on, sent us mood boards with updated florals/linens/colours/decorative elements as we got closer and closer to the wedding date, and was just a genuine cheerleader and advocate for us and our wedding. The list could go on and on, but I couldn’t recommend hiring Holly for a wedding enough- she truly creates an experience for you and your guests that you will never forget!
