CHATEAU LES CROSTES
The wedding of H&D took place at the beautiful Chateau Les Crostes in Provence, South of France around 40 minutes into the countryside from St Tropez. The Château dates back to the 17th century and is surrounded by stunning olive groves and rolling vineyards.
Our bride & groom went for a dusky blue, grey and gold theme which brought a romantic, elegant vibe. We worked with an amazing florist who created for us beautiful flower displays including a floor based installation for the ceremony and low centrepieces for the tables.
The caterer Les Filles Du Sud had a relaxed modern approach to food ensuring it was colourful and pleasing to the eye as well as delicious. We also loved that they gave us the option of providing mismatched tableware to ensure every place setting was different. H&D ordered local favors for all of their guests where everyone received something different to match with their personality.
We had some beautiful textured stationery designed along with a fabric banner for the table plan to hang over the chateau wooden doors. The string lights twinkled above the dancefloor throughout the warm evening whilst the guests danced along to the DJ and grazed on mini desserts.

I went into planning my French wedding thinking ‘I can do this without a wedding planner’. By the time we’d finally secured a venue I had completely changed my mind. I came across Wonderlust Events by chance on a Facebook group and after speaking to a number of other (French) planners, I had a Skype session with Holly from Wonderlust Events. We clicked immediately and I can honestly say that we would never have had the perfect wedding we had without Wonderlust Events.
People said to me ‘does it matter that your planner is not French and does not live in France?’ Absolutely not. We were looking for a planner who would understand our vision and dreams and turn them into reality and Holly did that and more. With Holly’s guidance and knowledge we were able to secure some amazing suppliers and create the personal, fun and laid back wedding weekend that was completely ‘us’. Holly was more than a wedding planner - she was our stylist, our coordinator on the day, and our friend. She calmed my many irrational fears during the planning process and ran an absolutely seamless day on the wedding day in 35 degree heat.
All we can say is, having Wonderlust Events help plan our wedding was one of the best decisions we made and we cannot thank Holly enough!
