For our lovely couple E&N's wedding we were looking for a Cyprus venue with character and charm in the Larnaca area of Cyprus.
We found a real gem Ktima Demetriou, a beautiful family run venue in the Cyprus countryside and we all knew straight away it was right the place to home E&N's wedding.
We love to take into account the seasons in each country where we plan a destination wedding. May in Cyprus is a great month for the beautiful, blooming bougainvillea so it was the perfect opportunity to include the gorgeous bright pink flower in the wedding. We incorporated it into our table centres and stationery which made a real statement.
May is of course also peony season and with this being one of our brides favourite flowers we took full advantage and included this in her bouquet, cake flowers and arch decorations.
We brought in a few other subtle colours to the wedding day for a little contrast including grey and gold. On the tables we used a soft grey tablecloth along with gold cutlery and perspex table signs with gold writing.
Our bride walked down the aisle along to the Cranberries being played on the grand piano before a traditional Cypriot feast was served for dinner. The evening got off to a magical start with the first dance taking place under the string lighting and each guest surrounding the new Mr & Mrs with sparklers.
We had booked a DJ, Greek dancers, an ice cream cart, a cocktail bar and a souvlaki stand for the evening entertainment and to ensure guests had a spectacular time.

The wonderful Holly made our wedding day better than we ever imagined, it truly was everything we wanted and more! The minute we spoke to Holly we instantly clicked, she is such a beautiful person and an absolute dream to have by your side, bringing your fantasy wedding to life, guiding you through every single step.
We always wanted to get married in Cyprus, a special place to us and our family, however we did not know where to begin with finding our venue, all we knew was that we wanted somewhere exclusive to us and without Holly we most certainly would not have found our hidden little gem, me being the first British bride to get married here. Holly made our countryside venue look absolutely stunning.
Throughout all the planning process and on the day Holly was so supportive and patient, professional and very organised. The very best communication (truly deserved that medal for putting up with me). Holly listened to what we wanted and gave us amazing ideas along the way, she took all the stress away from us and made our planning process nothing but fun and super exciting.
Holly found all the best suppliers and ran the day perfectly from start to finish which left us feeling fully relaxed and able to simply enjoy every single second of our day. Holly went above and beyond, making our day what it was. We are so grateful for having Holly not only for planning and coordinating the day and the year running up to it but also for planning our show arounds, meeting drinks and meeting with us in the UK to go through plans and ideas.
Its fair to say you are in safe hands with Holly from Wonderlust Events and we cannot recommend her highly enough.
