GARDEN MARQUEE
M&E’s wedding was originally a destination wedding plan in the South of France but due to Covid travel restrictions, we had to move the wedding to the UK with a rapid 12 week timeline.
A beautiful Cotswold mansion was the backdrop for this stunning wedding and it almost felt like you could be in France with the beautiful gardens around a grand stone building.
We worked with the colour scheme of blush and white to give a clean, elegant and modern feel. We were lucky enough to have beautiful sunshine on the day so an outside ceremony took place under the trees in the gardens with their 130 guests. Winston, the couple's dog was the ring bearer and he chose an excellent little suit for the occasion.
As guests arrived, drinks were served to the background music of Alex Francis, singer and acoustic guitarist. For the ceremony we enjoyed the warming tones of Hope Winter, singer and pianist.
After the ceremony, the guests were lead to a drinks reception around the pool, reinforcing the vibe of a destination wedding.
A sail tent marquee on the croquet lawn was the location for the delicious three course dinner. The florist dressed the marquee with foliage and flowers to look like they were growing up the wooden poles, while chandeliers hung elegantly above the tables.
For the tablescape we used neutral linen with minimalist textured cream and black stationery to create a bold look. The centrepiece was an abundance of roses, drawing your eyes across the table.
The party kicked off with an amazing first dance, DJ and trumpet set which led into a night, full of non-stop dancing and an after party in the venue's basement.

When we started out our planning process 4 years ago we didn’t intend on having a wedding planner, but after feeling completely overwhelmed by it all, we started looking into the idea.
Holly stuck out to us straight away. When we met up with her it was so clear to us that we were all on the same page.
For our whole engagement Holly went over and above every step of the way. She was honest, full of advice and amazing suppliers.
She found us the most perfect venue in France, then due to Covid we rearranged our wedding for 2021 in The Cotswolds. With suddenly only a couple of months to re-organise everything, I wasn’t sure we would do it, but Holly was always so reassuring and calm and gave us all the confidence we needed. She took so much of the emotional stress away from us when dealing with the cancellation of our original wedding venue.
My partner was away with work for the months before the wedding so I relied heavily on Holly for communication and decision making, I truly don’t think I would’ve made it through without her. We most certainly wouldn’t have had the beautiful day that we did.
I will never forget the help, care and attention to detail that went into every part of our wedding day. Holly really is something special. I have recommended her to so many people who have since planned their wedding with her and I’m glad to say they are as happy as I am.
