KTIMA HATZI
Our couple A&L flew in from New York for their beautiful Greek destination wedding on the Athens Riviera. Being both from Greek heritage they wanted to hold their wedding in their home country. The couple were seeking a spectacular venue with views of the Aegean and that’s exactly what they got at Ktima Hatzi, an amazing mansion full of history and grandeur with modern touches.
The ceremony took place within the olive grove overlooking the Aegean sea, facing a moon-shaped arch with the local priest conducting a Greek Orthodox ceremony.
As for the tablescape, our bride wanted a beautiful romantic, Tuscan feel across the day. Neutral green and white flowers created a timeless look with gold topped glassware and beautiful white knotted linen napkins with touches of bronze through the candles and the flower vases. Guests dined under crystal chandeliers in the dusky light and lights twinkled in the horizon. For the food the guests were served a Greek buffet with amazing authentic local choices. Mixologists then put together personalised crafted cocktails whilst serving behind a wooden bar with tassel lampshades.
For the table plan the guests found their place on an arched board with escort cards held in place by initialled wax seals. The favors were locally-produced extra virgin olive oil in a wooden branded box with the couple's logo.
For the entertainment across the day a string duo played modern covers and songs from Bridgerton. A Greek band played the night away which the guests loved. The wow factor was brought to our clients wedding with floor sparklers for their first dance and a champagne tower creating a fun and glamorous moment later on in the night.
